What does
sustainability
mean to us?

Environmental and social consciousness are deeply ingrained in us. We set periodic goals to continuously improve our operations to protect our planet and our community.

Sustainability Goals 2025.

Electricity Management

High-tech machineries at our factories lead to energy savings and high levels of efficiency. Our facilities use energy efficient technologies along with inverter technology where possible.

Efficient technologies in use include servo motor, LED light, ventilation systems, heat recovery systems from heated water, insulation systems, high SRI color in rooftops and hardscape.

Water Management

Use of state-of-the-art machineries reduce water consumption at our factories. Our garment Washing Facilities are designed to minimize water consumption significantly compared to other wash factories.

We have installed high efficiency technology, such as the eco-friendly E-flow, Ozone Machines and Laser Machines. We constantly add technology that ensures minimization of water and chemical consumption.

Waste Management

All our facilities implement the 3R (Reduce, Reuse & Recycle) concept for waste management procedures. After onsite segregation two times a day, solid waste is transported to the wastage store.

Non-hazardous and hazardous wastes are then collected by Government authorities for proper disposal according to the law. We use a jute boiler reducing fabric waste generation by 50%. Our factories are equipped with highly effective biochemical Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP).

Carbon & Environment Management

We carry out comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment for all our garment manufacturing facilities and preventive actions are taken against any possible impact on the environment.

Assessments cover noise, indoor and ambient air quality, greenhouse gas emissions, safe disposal of wastage material, and biodiversity conservation. Wetland and streams in the vicinity of our premises are protected from construction damages, soil erosion and sedimentation.

Biodiversity

We have a clear and coordinated direction for biodiversity action planning. For biodiversity conservation, our plans include moving towards a deforestation-free supply chain, substituting any hazardous chemicals with hazard-free ones, sustainable water management, and contributing towards sustainable livelihoods.

We place special importance on sourcing eco-friendly raw materials from suppliers with materials certified by globally recognized sustainable standards such as the Organic Content Standard (OCS), Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Global Recycled Standard (GRS), Recycled Claim Standard (RCS), and other reputable certifications.
